Program Overview
Unique Family Services NFP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to helping youth and young adults ages 5 to 24 build a brighter future. We provide job readiness skills, guidance, and support to those who need it most in our community.**
Our signature initiative, the Pathways to Purpose Youth Program, offers mentorship, academic support, life skills training, job readiness, and opportunities for community engagement. Designed for youth ages 5 to 24, the program builds confidence, promotes educational and career success, and helps reduce the risk factors that contribute to poverty, violence, and homelessness.
Program Components by Age Group

Ages 5–11: "Foundations"
Focus: Early development, self-esteem, academic enrichment - After-school homework help and tutoring - Arts & crafts, music, and storytelling - Social-emotional learning and conflict resolution - Parent engagement and workshops - Summer camp and field trips

Ages 12–17: "Rising Leaders"
Focus: Personal identity, leadership, academic achievement - Peer mentoring and life skills workshops - Mental health and wellness support - Violence prevention and restorative justice circles - Career exploration events - Financial literacy and savings clubs - College and high school prep

Ages 18–24: "Future Forward"
Focus: Independence, employment, post-secondary success - Resume building and job readiness training - Paid internships and job placements - GED and college enrollment assistance - Housing resources and transitional services - Entrepreneurship and small business coaching - Leadership opportunities as youth mentors
